Durex has been making the highest quality condoms for nearly 80 years and with over 30% of the global branded condom market, it is the number 1 condom brand in the world.
Following the introduction of the innovative 'Play' range, we were tasked with both researching and creating structural packaging concepts, with the aim of reinvigorating the sales of the core Durex condom range.

Market research had highlighted a real need to make carrying condoms more 'socially acceptable' and less of a taboo along whilst improving the practicality of carrying condoms on the go.
Our solution was to create a pack that was small enough to fit in your pocket and addressed the taboo nature of the
product by utilising a simplified version of the original design.

In conjunction with the main brief we were given the task of creating designs for a range of resealable pouch packs.
Research had shown that the core 12 pack range was deemed by consumers to be too cumbersome when traveling, so the creation of the the new pouches would provide a more convenient & easily resealable solution.
